PROFESSOR MARIE CARROLL
Marie Carroll was until 2015 Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs) at the University of Sydney, with responsibilities curriculum, graduate studies and higher degrees by research strategy, and teaching and learning. She obtained her PhD in Cognitive Psychology from Otago University in New Zealand

Two time Emmy Award winner and composer with credits spanning film, television and documentary series including Santa Barbara, Neighbours, Missing Persons Unit, Outback House, Catalyst, Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji, The Flying Vet, The Secret Lives of Sleepwalkers, Dead Tired and Made In China.
Art has been an Academic Board member of The Australian Institute of Music since 2013, and in 2016 was appointed Deputy Chair.

DR KATHIE ARDZEJEWSKA
Dr Kathie Ardzejewska is the Manager of the Learning and Teaching Office (LTO) at the University of Notre Dame. In this role, she provides managerial leadership to the LTO team to provide the academic community with support and resources that ultimately aim to enrich the learning and teaching experiences of students.

ARIA award winning and APRA nominated artist/composer, producer, label owner and session bassist (electric bass guitar and acoustic upright bass) Michael Galeazzi has over two decades of national and international arts experience.
Michael remains a part of the contemporary music industry as an arts industry professional, educator, academic and artist.

Rachel is a singer, songwriter and recording artist. Rachel holds a Master of Music (Composition and Music Production) from the Australian Institute of Music 2012, a Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education (German and Linguistics) Macquarie University 2002, a Licentiate Diploma of Music (Piano) Australian Music Examinations Associate Diploma of Music (Piano).

MR PATRICK NELLESTEIN

Patrick has composed music for the 2008-2010 'Australian of the Year' ceremonies for Channel Nine; also collaborating with ‘Roving Enterprises’ to compose music for ‘The Project’ on Channel 10. Patrick is also actively involved in Interactive and Adaptive Learning, curriculum development and course design.

DR CLIVE HARRISON
Deputy Director of Academic Affairs
After a very successful 40-year career as a session musician, composer, songwriter, and record producer. In 2015, he published a 300-page academic textbook titled ‘The Songwriting Labyrinth: Practical Tools to Decode the Mysterious Craft’. In 2016, he completed a PhD in ‘Creativity, Multiple Intelligences, and Songwriting’ at the University of Newcastle.

Alistair studied a Masters Degree in Musicology, based upon extensive archival research. Alistair found that music analysis is a way to bring together many of his diverse interests in composition, performance, and critique of music. Alistair completed his PhD at the Australian National University.
